MUMBAI: Jaya Bachchan was massively trolled for her attitude after she royally ignored Sonali Bendre at Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan's wedding reception. The video of Jaya walking ahead as Sonali joins Shweta Bachchan and her for a photo op went viral. And finally, now the 90s actress has reacted to the viral video and revealed if she was ignored by the veteran actress or not.
In the video, you can see how Shweta Bachchan tells her mom that Sonali has just come and she is walking off, to which she realises her presence and joins back to get clicked together.
Speaking to iDiva, Sonali was asked about the viral video to which she said," Jab bhi aap kisi function me jaate ho, poori army hoti hai paparazzi ki. Tapes lagi hoti hain ki aap yahan rukenge, yahan rukenge and aap jayenge. Aap khade hue, aage badhe, kisi ne bola aapka solo chaiye. Tab tak wo aage wale mark pe ja rahe the aur beech me aapne pakad liya to ye lagta hai ki aap aaye aur wo nikal gye but it’s just about going from one mark to another"
Strongly defending Jaya Bachchan, Sonali further added," Also, kuch stereotypes hote hain jo logo ko perpetuate karna acha lagta hai.Where Jaya ji is concerned, I have utmost love and respect for her. She’s only given me love till date,".

Jaya Bachchan often makes headlines for lashing out at the paparazzi as she dislikes this culture. Whiel Neetu in her appearance on Karan Johar's show had revealed she feels Jaya does this deliberately and even enjoys it, "I feel Jaya ji does it on purpose. She did it once and now she does it on purpose. She is not like that. She is so lovely.” Karan said, “I think they (paps) also enjoy it."
