MUMBAI: While music is said to have a healing power, songs can make you think. There are songs which also make you feel that it summarises you and your life. Even our celebrities have that one song, and we asked Himansh Kohli and Somy Ali about the same, and here's what they had to say:
Himansh Kohli (Last seen in a music video titled "Main jis din bhulaa du"): The song that I feel depicts my life is "Main zindagi ka sath nibhata chala gaya" from the 1961 film "Hum Dono". I heard this song first when I was a little kid, and my dad used to listen to it on his transistor. I listened to this song over and over again and fell in love with Dev Anand Saab. This song is about living life as it comes, and getting rid of all the worries and troubles, and I truly believe in this.

Somy Ali (Former Bollywood actress, who now runs an NGO called No More Tears in the USA): My favourite song is "Kahin door jab din dhal jaye" from Rajesh Khanna's 1971 film "Anand". I feel this song is about dreams, that even in the darkest times we should not let go of our dreams and work towards making them true.
