MUMBAI : The Sushant Singh Rajput death probe is one of the most high-profile cases across the world, and people are fighting for justice since day one.
Since the Mumbai Police did try to cover up the case, it was then transferred to the CBI. Alongside, the ED and NCB too are investigating the case.
As per Times Now, the CBI is suspicious about the CDR activity of SSR. The actor on 13th June received his last call at 2:22 PM and read all messages before that.
But after 2:22 PM, the actor was completely disconnected. He went off the grid. No calls were answered and no messages were read or sent.
The CBI officials are doubting that something must have gone wrong on 13th June itself, as there was no activity on his phone since 2:22 PM.
Times Now report suggests that it was on 13th that the neighbour had said that all the lights were off at 10:30, which is unusual of SSR, as he was an insomniac. He used to sleep late and wake up early. The CBI is probing the angle and suspect that all the statements of the suspects could be a planted narrative.
CBI officials are investigating not only the people who visited his house on 14th but also 13th June 2020. This becomes a crucial part of the case, as for the past three months, there is no clarity on the time of death, which is not mentioned on the autopsy report also.
Meanwhile, the AIIMS is working on the forensic report of the actor, and on 15th September, the medical board will have a meeting and will submit the report that will give us a clear picture on whether it was a homicide or a suicide.
Top agencies are investigating the case. The CBI is looking into the murder or suicide theory, ED is probing the money laundering case, and the NCB is looking into the drug cartel case.
Well, let's hope that justice is served soon.
