MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Anurag Basu's Aashiqui 3 following the success of Satyaprem Ki Katha, in which he co-starred with Kiara Advani. It's interesting to note that the third chapter of one of the most romantic franchises, Aashiqui, has the fans giddy with anticipation. Kartik Aaryan's participation as the lead male actor was previously known, but the producers have now revealed more cast members.
The makers of Aashiqui 3 have selected actress Akanksha Sharma to play the movie's lead female role, according to a popular News portal report. Additionally, a source said, "Akanksha has had multiple meetings with the makers of the film and there is a possibility that things might get locked."
According to the source, Akansha will be ideal for Anurag Basu's Aashiqui 3 since she is a "fresh new face" and the Aashiqui producers have always been excited to introduce new pairings, such as Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal or Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
It's interesting to note that top actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were under consideration by the film's producers to co-star opposite Kartik Aaryan, but it seems that they didn't want any actress who had previously collaborated with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor. Akanksha stepped into the spotlight as a result of their search for a new and fresh face.
Akanksha has a significant amount of experience in the Kannada sector. She even appeared with Tiger Shroff in the song and dance clip called Disco 82.
Aashiqui 3's actress would be a new face, and the cast was looking for a female lead actor at the time, director Mahesh Bhatt stated in an exclusive interview with a popular news portal.
The movie's script is currently being finished, and next year is when production is anticipated to begin.
