Speaking of being judged for her past adult film career, Sunny said, “I think that in my initial time being here in India, it is expected of the certain words or tag people use for you. That is completely normal. I think it is more bothersome now that we are still talking about it." Highlighting that it is finally time for people to let go of her past, she said, "Come on! It's been 13 years now since I have been here. If you don't let it go, how do we all move forward? So it is high time. It is not a conversation piece that is exciting anymore.”
She added, “You are aware that I have experienced this in my life. Each of us has put in a great deal of effort and developed in different ways. Now that a publication is using it to get traction, I find it strange.”
