MUMBAI: Popular choreographer Remo D’Souza, who recently helmed the third installment of the Race franchise, is all set to make his acting debut. TellyChakkar has some exclusive insights regarding the upcoming movie. Tentatively titled Boo Yaa, the project is directed by Bharti Bachchani who is playing the role of an acclaimed costume designer in the movie.
A reliable source reveals that the movie will revolve around dance and kids. As for the cast, TellyChakkar has its hands on the kids who are a part of the venture.
The dance based film will see choreographer cum director Remo D’Souza in a pivotal role. Since the major plot revolves around kids and dance, the makers have roped in contestants from popular dance reality shows like Zee TV’s Super Dancer and Dance India Dance (DID).
Super Dancer winner Ditya Bhande and other popular participants like Lakshya Sinha, Laxman Kumbhar, Masum Narzary, Ashish Das, who was also part of DID, are a part of the prestigious project.

Other child artists like Sadhwin Shetty, Shivlekh currently seen in Shriman Shrimati as Goldie, Anshul Kumar and Swayam Bhadke, also play important roles.
Besides these child artists, the film will feature a female lead. The character will be portrayed by fresh face Nazneen Patni. Though relatively a fresh face in the industry, Patni has been part of films like My Father Iqbal where she was seen alongside late Narendra Jha.
The beautiful actress has been featured in many advertisements as well. This project will surely be a big opportunity for the actress, since she will be sharing screen space with Remo in his acting debut.
The film, produced by Rajesh Bachchani, Pamela Roy Chowdhury, Karisma Popat under The Blue Mug Boy Creations and Astara Films, is slated to release by the month of August. The cast and crew have already started filming.
