MUMBAI: Ever since the demise of the Chhichhore actor, the fans and family are in a state of shock and they are eagerly waiting to know what has happened on that unfortunate day. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetment of Sushant’s suicide. Sushant’s death case was later taken over by the Central Bureau of Investigation, who has been investigating the case for the last few weeks. Now, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh seeks answers from CBI about the probe and has said that people are eagerly waiting for an update from the CBI in the late actor’s death case.
According to IANS, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, while addressing the media, said that the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case was abruptly handed over to the CBI and that they are eagerly waiting for an update from the CBI. He said people wanted the details of the CBI probe and were waiting to find out whether the late actor died by suicide or if it was a homicide.

He said, “You all know that the investigation into the Sushant death case was being done very professionally by the Maharashtra Police and Mumbai Police. But it was abruptly handed over to the CBI. We eagerly want to know. Even the people are now asking whether Sushant died by suicide or if he was murdered. We want the details of the CBI probe to come out."
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh had told ANI that he was not happy with the speed at which the case was going and also said that all attention was being diverted to the drugs case. Today, CBI released an official statement that read, “The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting a professional investigation related to the death of Shri Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. Investigation is continuing.”
