MUMBAI: KK Singh, the father of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, lodged an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her family and ex-manager in Patna's Rajiv Nagar police station. The complaint has been lodged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) like 341, 342, 380, 406,420, 306 and 120 (B). A copy of his FIR, which made it online, had a lot of severe accusations made on Rhea. For instance, the Jalebi actress was accused of blackmailing Sushant, transferring money from his account to hers, mentally exploiting him and keeping him away from his family. Now, in a conversation with ANI, Sushant's father's lawyer Vikas Singh has made some shocking claims against the Mumbai police.

He alleged Mumbai police of not filing the FIR and forcing Sushant's father to involve names of big production houses. “FIR registered now as family was in shock & Mumbai Police wasn't registering FIR, but forcing them to give names of big production houses & get them involved. It was heading in a different direction: Vikas Singh, Ex-Addl Solicitor General & lawyer of #SushantSinghRajput's father," revealed the lawyer to ANI. He further thanked the CM of Bihar and stated that Sushant’s family has not yet demanded for a CBI investigation. “Patna Police was a little hesitant but CM Nitish Kumar & Minister Sanjay Jha explained the matter to them and FIR was registered. We want that the matter be investigated by Patna Police. The family has not demanded for CBI investigation yet: Lawyer of #SushantSinghRajput's father," added Vikas.

The SP of Patna, Vinay Tiwari, revealed that the names mentioned by Sushant's father have been booked. "FIR has been registered. Preliminary investigation has begun. It is not correct to say at this point of time that who will be questioned. All those who were named by #SushantSinghRajput's father in the FIR, have been booked: Vinay Tiwari, Patna (Central) City SP," reported ANI.
