MUMBAI: Tabu has been busy promoting Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which she would be starring in alongside Ajay Devgn. The actor talked about working on Om Shanti Om with Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan in an interview with Zoom, during which she was shown a still from the song Deewangi Deewangi. Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood acting debut in the same film in 2007.
Many people, according to Tabu, would like to see Shah Rukh Khan and her together on television. The actor talked about her Om Shanti Om cameo, in which she appeared with Shah Rukh in a slow-motion video while wearing a red saree during the song Deewangi Deewangi.
Tabu revealed, “Ek shot hum sabne kiya tha. I did it for Farah and yeah, it was great fun. They made me some great clothes, great hair, and makeup, and we got very expensive gifts from Shah Rukh Khan.”
The song featured a lot of actors and actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Shabana Azmi, Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, among many others.
The main character of the movie is Om, a young actor in the 1970s who falls in love with Shantipriya, a well-known actor. However, Om (Shah Rukh Khan) loses his life while attempting to save Shantipriya, and their love story takes a sad turn. To exact revenge for their demise, he reincarnates. In the role of Shantipriya, Deepika performed.
