Taurani trashes talks of casting Katrina in Salman-Prabhu Deva return film

After setting the cash registers ringing in their first film together namely Wanted, Salman Khan and Prabhu Deva are to team up once again for a film to be produced by Tips Industries. Reportedly the film industry was expecting that Katrina Kaif would be signed to play the female lead in the project. But contrary to the belief, producer Ramesh Taurani has something else to say. "We have not signed Katrina for the film. We have not thought of who the leading lady will be opposite Salman. We are still working on the script. The story is not yet completed,” he said in a statement. Talking of the film, Taurani averred, "The film has all the ingredients that audience would look for - right from romance to drama, action and dance. Since we loved the story, Tips decided to back it. It would be a family entertainer film." It is however said that since the Dabangg star has a packed schedule, he will start shooting for the film only next year. Right now, Taurani is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming Shahid Kapoor starrer Phata Poster Nikla Hero directed by Rajkumar Santoshi on 20 September (2013).
