Telugu actor Srihari dies due to liver ailment

Noted Telugu actor, Srihari (49) breathed his last at Leelavati Hospital, yesterday evening. Srihari was shooting for R…Rajkumar when he started feeling giddy and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. But unfortunately, the doctors couldn’t save Srihari who sources say passed away at 5 pm. The actor is survived by his actress wife Shanthi and two children. A prolific actor down south, Srihari made his debut in 1986 with ‘Thirugbaatu’. His filmography boasts of 98 movies till now and two of his new movies are ready to be released. One of the few actors from Telangana to have made it big on the silver screen, Srihari was last seen in the hit movie Thoofan along with Ram Charan Teja which was the Telugu version of Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer. The ailing actor had been undergoing treatment for a liver disorder for some time now. It is believed that the same disorder caused his death. Directors Apoorva Lakhia and Prabhu Dheva were seen visiting the hospital to extend their condolences to the bereaved family of Srihari. RIP Srihari. You will be missed.
