MUMBAI: Earlier, we got to see some promotions for Shaitaan and Maidaan but there was not so much of a buzz for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. However, the fans were excited to watch Tabu and Ajay Devgn back on screen. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, directed by Neeraj Pandey, was originally supposed to release on 5th July but for some reason the date got postponed and it was released on 2nd August.
The cast of the movie features Ajay Devgn and Tabu as lovers while Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar play their younger versions. Jimmy Shergill plays the role of Tabu’s husband. The movie got some mixed reviews from audience wherein everyone has appreciated the performances given by actors.

On the other hand, we have Ulajh which is directed by Sudhanshu Saria. It is a movie that has explored a new zone. While we have earlier watched Spies, army officers, police officers and covert operations, the makers have now tried to pull us into the world of spies and diplomats. That’s right! The movie shows the unexplored world of Indian Foreign Security officers and how they prevent breakouts of wars.
The cast of the movie features Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang and Rajendra Gupta. The movie has been released already, hitting the theatres on 2nd August. While Janhvi Kapoor takes the lead role in the movie, the audience is very much excited as the cast of the movie looks pretty good. The movie has hit the big screens and has got some mixed reviews.
When talking about AMKDT, on its opening day, the movie collected around Rs 2 Cr. On the other hand, Ulajh collected around Rs 1.15 Cr on it’s opening day with a collection of Rs 1.5 Cr worldwide.
On day 4, AMKDT collected around Rs 1.04 Cr while Ulajh collected around Rs 0.57 Cr. When talking about the worldwide collections, AMKDT collected around Rs 9.5 Cr while Ulajh collected around Rs 6.5 Cr.
The movies have done slightly better on weekends but it’ll be interesting to see how the week goes for these movies.
