Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video director Raaj Shaandilyaa publicly Apologizes to Maddock Films; here's why

The movie has already hit the big screens and while the audience is being entertained, there's something going on behind-the-scenes which audience were not aware of.

MUMBAI : Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri have emerged like the star of 2024. This year, Rajkummar Rao was first seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi, then in Srikanth where he gave an amazing performance and is still impressing the audience in theatres with the horror comedy movie Stree 2. On the other hand, Triptii Dimri has also made the audience crazy since his performance in Animal and then in her last movie Bad Newz.

Now Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri have come back with a powerful performance in their latest movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Along with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, the movie also stars Vijay Raaz and Mallika Sherawat. The movie is set in a small town of the 90s and the story revolves around Vicky and Vidya's intimate video.

The movie has already hit the big screens and while the audience is being entertained, there's something going on behind-the-scenes which audience were not aware of. It seems there are parts in the movie with reference to Stree franchise and it's characters which Maddock Films were not aware about and this has stirred up a controversy.

As a result, now Raaj Shaandilyaa, the writer and director of the movie has written out a public apology to Maddock Films, on behalf of his and the producers of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Take a look at the post below:

According to the apology post, all the infringing content from the movie wherein they have used dialogue and character from Stree, will be removed at the earliest.
