MUMBAI :Shah Rukh Khan has been creating a lot of buzz these days for his upcoming spy-thriller movie Pathaan. Post Pathaan, he will next be seen in the movie Jawan, along with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Recently, his co-star Vijay Sethupathi praised the superstar, calling him a gentleman. In a recent interview, Vijay opened up about his first day of shooting.
Vijay shared that he was initially feeling uncomfortable on-set, but SRK made him feel ‘very comfortable’. He even shared about how the star motivated him to discuss scenes with him. While speaking with a media portal, Vijay said, “He was very sweet. It was a very good experience. I was a bit nervous on the first day, because he is a very big artiste, but he made me very comfortable. He didn’t have a scene on that day, but he was there to make me feel comfortable. He is very sweet; I can discuss with him… He is a gentleman; I really had a good time with Shah Rukh sir.”
Speaking with a popular news agency, Vijay also shared, “I had a good time working on Jawan with Atlee and Shah Rukh sir. He (Shah Rukh) is a gentleman, he will never show that I am in the industry for so many years and I am the superstar. Like, how I work with my co-actors, I could discuss (scenes) with him the same way. And then sometimes I would say, ‘sorry sir, if I disturb you’, he would say, ‘no Vijay, do it’. I was very comfortable with him and he is very sweet.”
Vijay is all set to star in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's upcoming Amazon Prime Video series titled Farzi. It stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, along with Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, and Bhuvan Arora. The series will stream on the OTT platform on 10th February. He has also been confirmed in the upcoming thriller film ‘Merry Christmas’ along with Katrina Kaif. It will be directed by filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, and will release in theatres this year in both Hindi and Tamil.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next, Pathaan is all set to hit theaters next Thursday on 25th January. The actor stars as the titular spy, and it is directed by Siddharth Anand. Pathaan’s cast features Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. He even has Dunki which is being directed by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, and also stars Taapsee Pannu.
Directed by filmmaker Atlee, Jawan is set to be a high-octane action sequence, and it is being produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment. The film will release in theatres across five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on 2nd June across the globe.
