Vishal Bhardwaj to produce Meghna Gulzar's film; Irrfan Khan to act

After the failed Filhaal and Just Married, Gulzar Saab’s daughter Meghna is all set to direct her third feature film. And this time the doting protective father is taking no chances. Gulzar Saab has asked his favourite protégé Vishal Bhardwaj to produce Meghna’s new feature film. Bhardwaj has wasted no time in getting Meghna’s project together. He has approached his good friend Irrfan Khan to play the lead in Meghna’s film. Irrfan and Vishal have worked together in three films so far and were planning to collaborate on a fourth film when Meghna Gulzar’s project came up. Says a source close to the project, “Vishal’s son Aasman and Meghna share the same birth date (13 December). Vishal treats Meghna like his sister. He was committed to produce a film for her ever since she last directed a film six years ago. When she expressed her wish to get a Irrfan for her film Vishal personally spoke to Irrfan.” Confirming these developments Irrfan Khan says, “Yes I am working with Vishal and Meghna.”
