Vivek Oberoi confirms offer to play younger Narendra Modi

When few days ago news was afloat that Vivek Oberoi has been offered to play the young Narendra Modi in a biopic of the Gujarat Chief Minister, we got a little curious. Our constant phones and text messages to the Prince actor didn’t bear any fruit. And now comes the news that the actor has confirmed that he has been offered to play Narendra Modi. The confirmation came when the actor disclosed this to newsmen at Shillong on the sidelines of a youth summit which Vivek has gone to attend. However, he is still to decide on doing the film. If talks doing the rounds are to be believed, Vivek has been approached to portray the role of a young Modi who used to run a tea stall and also worked in the staff canteen of the Gujarat Road Transport Corporation before he took a plunge in politics. The film is to be directed by US-based Mitesh Patel.
