MUMBAI: After winning over audiences with their chemistry in Bhool Chuk Maaf, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rajkummar Rao are set to reunite on screen for Ujjwal Nikam’s much-anticipated biopic. The film marks Wamiqa’s second collaboration with Maddock films and with Rajkummar Rao.
For Wamiqa, this project is another significant addition to what is shaping up to be one of her busiest years yet. Apart from the biopic, she has two films lined up with Dharma Productions, one alongside Bhuvan Bam and another with Shakun Batra. She will also headline the sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh, where she takes on a central role in the modern spin of the classic relationship drama.
Her packed calendar does not end there. Wamiqa has several releases lined up across genres, cementing her as one of the most versatile actresses of her generation. Upcoming projects include the horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla, the quirky romance Dil Ka Darwaza Kholna Darling, and the much-awaited G2, which is expected to showcase her in a more action-driven avatar.
