We Are Family child actress Diya Sonecha who last appeared onscreen 10 years ago now looks like THIS

MUMBAI : We Are Family is the family drama which was released in 2010, starring Kajol Devgan and Arjun Rampal with their onscreen daughter Diya Sonecha. Diya who played the role of the youngest daughter, Anjali seems to be really different after a decade, so let’s take a look at her recent picture.

In the film apart from others, Diya’s role of Anjali stood out as she captivated audiences from her cute acting skills.

Director Siddharth Malhotra who was playing a role of babysitting off screen for the then little five-year-old Diya Sonecha, once shared in an old interview, "One is required to understand the mood of a five-year-old kid like Diya. I have two kids, four and eight years old. So, I understand the need of a child as a father".

He further said, "Her character is very important in the film starting from the first to the last scene, so she deserves to be pampered."

We Are Family is inspired by American film Stepmom (1998), starring Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, and Ed Harris. In the film, we see Maya parted ways from her husband and started living with her three children. On the other hand, Aman lives with his girlfriend Shreya but decides to return to his family when Maya is sick.

During an old interview lead actress Kajol revealed that they had to change the script and make it more Indian. She said, "When you watch the film, the premise of the film remains the same, but there is so much else there that I hope you come up with the feeling that it's a different film altogether.”
