The movie which is written, directed and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra speaks about the life of Manoj Kumar and his journey to become IPS officer and the movie is based on the book written by Anurag Pathak with the same name.

Talking about the premise of the movie, the story is based on Manoj Kumar’s life and his journey of becoming an IPS officer who comes from a very small village of Chambal.
In spite of fighting all the hurdles and with the love and support of his friends and family, how he became an IPS officer is the entire story of the movie.
