MUMBAI: We have seen and loved the movie Dil Se which had Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala in the leading role, the movie which spoke about love with the backdrop of terrorism was immensely loved for its amazing storytelling and some great performances.

Indeed the music was also one of the high points of the movie which is remembered till today.

No doubt the characters which were portrayed by the actors especially Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala have indeed created a strong mark in the hearts and minds of the fans. Having said that, do you know actress Manisha Koirala was not the first choice for the movie?

Yes, you heard it right! Actress Manisha Koirala who was immensely loved for the movie Dil Se was not the first choice for the movie, but it was the actress Kajol. Kajol was supposed to play the part of the actress Manisha Koirala in the movie but it is said that because of the date issues the actress could not be a part of the movie.

No doubt it’s been a treat to watch Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala in the movie, no doubt what actress Manisha Koirala did in the movie was commendable but it would have been also a treat to watch the actress Kajol in the character of terrorist in the movie.
