According to our sources, the actress has refused to accept the coveted National Award for Best Actress for her dual role of Tanu and Kusum in Tanu Weds Manu Returns and is planning to return it. "Kangana has never been into awards, whether they were the home varieties or of national level, she has only been interested in the audiences' love," our source informed. The top star, who is already battling legal issues with her alleged ex-lover Hrithik Roshan, seems to be in the news more for her controversies than her work. Even though she has meaty roles up her sleeves in 2016, the year has begun on a controversial note for the actress. According to another source, a catty actress was heard telling her friends, "Kangana is doing these things to remain in the news and topple a certain DP from her throne."
