Seems like the Censor Board’s sanskaari streaks are going to mess with our movie-viewing experience. According to a popular entertainment site, key intimate scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan have apparently been chopped off. Their chemistry and sizzling sex scenes, which were the highlight of Karan Johar’s Diwali magnum opus Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, will now not be part of the final cut, the site added.
A source close to the site said, "Karan Johar personally attended the censor viewing of his film. He wanted to make sure not a single moment was tampered with. However the censor board members, while appreciating the film's mature theme and high level of aesthetics, objected to some steamy moments between Aishwarya and Ranbir."
KJo’s mushkils don’t seem to end because the movie’s release was threatened to be stalled due to Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s presence in it. And now this! Even though KJo is said to have requested them to retain the bold scenes, they went ahead and scrapped those anyway, the site stated further.
Written and directed by Karan Johar, the movie also stars Anushka Sharma, Deepti Naval, Lisa Haydon, Imran Abbas (guest appearance), and Shah Rukh Khan (guest appearance). It’s slated to release on 28 October.
