MUMBAI: Actor Varun Dhawan was recently seen in Coolie No.1, a reboot version of the 1995 movie with the same title which stars superstar Govinda alongside Karisma Kapoor. David Dhawan has directed both the movies. David Dhawan and Govinda collaborated with each other for more than 17 movies, and this is indeed a record set by any director or any actor. However, due to some disagreements, they are not working with each other these days, and we see the director is taking his son for the remakes of his movies.
After Main Tera Hero and Judwaa, the father-son duo joined hands for the remake of Govinda’s Coolie No.1. Well, we have also heard that Varun Dhawan shared a very good relation with actor Govinda, and here is what he shared about his relation with him.

Sharing his views, Varun Dhawan said that his relation with Govinda is not professional but at a personal level and that the senior actor used to take good care of him when he was a kid. Though his father is not on good terms with him currently, he has great respect for him. He has good memories with him and shares a personal bond with him.
