When Karan Singh Grover saved a drowning Bipasha

Trust Karan Singh Grover put on his knight in shining armour avatar when a lady is in distress. Especially when she happens to be as pretty as Bipasha Basu. The actress had a near harrowing death experience while shooting for Alone in the backwaters of Kerala. For a particular sequence, she had to ride pillion on a jet ski with her male co-star Karan Singh Grover without wearing a life jacket. Now for a non-swimmer like Bipasha this seemed like a dangerous proposition. The brave actress however agreed to deliver the shot and the action began. Unfortunately, things started going awry soon. While riding the jet-ski, Karan had to manoeuvre the machine to achieve a particularly sharp turn which resulted in Bipasha losing her balance and tripping right into the water. Unable to swim, Bipasha struggled to keep herself afloat and soon started drowning. To make matters worse, the film crew were far off and no rescue teams were standing handy nearby. And that is exactly when our man Karan decided to take matters into his own hands. Without wasting any more time, Karan in true filmy style dived right into the water, paddled his way to Bipasha in no time and pulled out the sinking actress to safety. By this time, the crew had reached the spot and Bipasha was brought onboard a boat where the actress reportedly rested for two hours before resuming shoot. Just goes to show how important it is to know swimming. As for Karan, the man certainly deserves a pat on his back and also a kiss may be!
