MUMBAI: Another incident of actress Taapsee Pannu’s exchange with the paps has made headlines. While the actress was entering her car, one pap tried to hold her door open to get a better shot, to which she replied, “Aise mat karo”, repeatedly. The incident took place on Wednesday, 26th October. After this video was shared on social media, netizens started trolling her and comparing her to Jaya Bachchan, who is known for getting upset with photographers.
She received comments like, “Dusri jaya bachan.. Coming soon”, “Jaya Bacchan lite”, “Dusre jaya bachan”, and other similar comments were posted on the video.

Another similar incident had happened in August 2022, when Taapsee attended an event and was immediately escorted inside as soon as she had arrived. A video from the event went viral, in which paps kept asking her to stop and pose for pictures and were telling her, “Taapsee ji, rukiye (Taapsee ji, wait)”, “Do ghante se ruke hain taapsee ji (we have been waiting for the past two hours)” and “Aap ruk kyun nahi rahi hain, taapsee ji (why aren’t you stopping)?”
Taapsee, who was hurrying inside the venue, stopped and responded, “Yaar daant kyun rahe ho? Isme meri kya galti hai? Mereko kyun sunaa rahe ho? (Why are you yelling at me? What is my fault)?” The actress further said, "Mujhe jo bola gaya main kar rahi hoon, aap mere pe kyu chilla rahe ho? (I am doing whatever I have been asked to do, why are you yelling at me)." She then responded to one particular pap saying, "Please talk to me in a respectful manner, I am just doing my work. I have arrived on time at every place I have been asked to. You will talk to me respectfully, I will also talk to you respectfully."
After some time, Taapsee's co-star Pavail Gulati came and stood behind her. She continued saying, "The camera is on me, so only my side can be seen. If it's on you for once then you would have realised how you are talking to me." After some more back and forth, the actress folded her hands and said, "Aap hi hamesha sahi hote ho, actor hi hamesha galat hota hai (You are always right, and actors are always at fault)."
Workwise, the actress has been busy with various films and she was last seen in Mishan Impossible, Dobaaraa and Looop Lapeta. She is currently working on the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki, which will be releasing next year. She will be playing the female lead.
