MUMBAI: The television and film industry has some of the most talented actors who have managed to establish their names over the years. 

Rohit Roy is one such actor who has been a prominent face of both the big and the small screens for a very long time. 

The talented actor has come a long way in his career with several films, web and TV shows to his credit. 

We all know that Rohit is now all set to be seen in Maaya 4 which is helmed by ace filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

Rohit has bagged another film which is titled Forensic. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Rohit spoke in length about the project and also revealed some exciting details. 

Talking about the film, Rohit said, ''Forensic is the remake of the superhit Malayalam film. The producer Mansi approached me for the role a few weeks ago. I saw the film and I couldn't guess which role she wanted me to play. She cast me to play the brother's character from the film.''

Further, elaborating on the kind of role he is going to play for the film, the actor said, ''It is very different from all the roles I have done. Every single role that I have done is contrastingly different from what I am going to play in Forensic.  That seemed like a good idea. The fact that it is a super hit Malayalam movie was an added bonus.''

Rohit is currently in Mussoorie and will kickstart the shoot from today. 

Talking about the pre-preparations he did for his role in the movie, Rohit said, ''I tried to get into the layers of what the character is feeling emotionally. It is a very layered role. Unless I get into the depth of the character, I will never be able to do justice to the role. This is probably the first time I'll be doing some sort of homework for this charater.''

Well, Rohit is all set to wow us once again with his upcoming projects and we can't be more excited. 

The actor has several amazing projects in his kitty and also hinted about a few of them. 

Rohit said that he will definitely reveal his future projects soon.
