The couple met at the premiere of Jayati, a film by Hansal Mehta, and were introduced by their mutual friend singer Rajeshwari Sachdev. The couple had a traditional wedding with only close friends and family in attendance. After dating for almost three years, they tied the knot in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, the birthplace of Ashutosh.
