MUMBAI: In 2011, there came an iconic movie named ‘Zingadi na Milegi Dobara’ which was directed by Zoya Akhtar. The movie starred Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin. We also get to see Naseeruddin Shah in a cameo role.
After a long time, the audience had got such a fresh road trip story about 3 friends. In the movie the actors have a great bond with each other. Every actor performed really well and the audience loved the fresh story along with the relatable comedy.
The movie receives just as much love even today and there are times when the audience asks for a second part of the movie. While there is no word from the makers about the second part of the movie, the audience still loves to see the actors together.
While there is no word about sequel of ZNMD, we have been hearing about another movie titled ‘Jee Le Zara’, which will be female-centric and feature 3 major Hindi movie queens, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. There is no update about the progress of the movie yet but it was recently reassured to the fans that the plan to get the movie back on tracks is on.
Meanwhile, there are fans who are trying to predict the storyline of the movie just for fun. While there are a few who wrote that Jee Le Zara seems to be a female version of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, there were also those who wrote that this movie will the very opposite of ZNMD and instead of a bachelor trip, it might be about 3 females just taking their time out from marriage, family and office.
However, what grabbed our attention was when a fan expressed his desire of Jee Le Zara to have a connection with ZNMD, as Jee Le Zara to be ahead of ZZNMD in terms of timeline. The user wrote that in ZNMD we see Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s characters finally getting married and having such a lovely chemistry, it would be great if we could see the future of that marriage and how it all went in Jee Le Zara as Katrina Kaif aka Zoya’s past or present. This also means that Hrithik Roshan might have to be there for a cameo role.
The user’s opinion does make sense if Zoya from ZNMD will also be a part of JLZ. That way, we will get to see a different and a broader version of Zoya which we didn’t get to see in ZNMD.
It’ll be interesting to see if any of this comes true.
