Eating together, staying together

Apparently, the cast of Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo share such warm camaraderie that they probably pray to God to give them a unit like this every janam. Jokes apart, a little bird that flits in and out of the set tells us Ratan Rajput (Laali) despite that size zero figure can’t keep her hands off Rupa Ganguly’s (Sumitra) loaded fridge in the latter’s vanity van, whenever hunger pangs strike her. Talking of this bonding Rajput says, “We share almost everything. All of us will ask for some or the other thing from each other. Recently, I was very hungry while shooting for the show and so I went up to Rupaji like a beggar and asked her to give me something to eat. Its fun on the sets and we are like one big happy family.” Shekharva and Ranvijayva are so chummy off screen that they share DVDs and watch them the minute the director calls for a break. And last but not the least, Jamuni and Siddheshwari are not digging their claws deeper when they are not shooting, instead they are trying out their culinary skills and cooking up a feast of chhole, dal and paneeer butter masala. Yum, now that’s what we call a khatta peeta, happy working unit.
