Salman makes Alka cry

It is nothing new about judges on reality shows getting emotional and shedding tears. The gimmick helps to increase TRPs of these shows by infusing an air of drama and sensationalism in an otherwise mundane scheme of things. However, Alka Yagnik who is currently one of the judges on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is known for being quite rational and not getting ruffled by emotions once she is on the seat of Mahaguru. But as they say, good music can make even stones weep. Salman Ali from Kailesh Kher’s team sang the song Saanwre from the movie Basera which not only left the audience but all the three judges on the show mesmerised. But it was Alka who was struck the most by Salman’s soulful rendition as she was moved to tears after the performance. Furthermore, she also rushed to hug him after the performance. “We are all human beings at the end of the day. How do you get past hearing songs that tug at your heartstrings?” said an emotional Alka. All we can say is that Salman did manage to hit the right notes!
