To mark the glorious 100 years of Indian Cinema, the top notch four directors came together to add a new dynamic to it. Together they released – Bombay Talkies - A 2013 Indian anthology film consisting of four short films directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. After a long wait the movie is ready to be released on Home Video by Shemaroo Entertainment. Winning a million of hearts and critical accolades, Bombay talkies marks the beginning of new era in Indian Cinema. The movie has four segments and each segment, though distinct in its emotional appeal and visual feel, succeeds in encapsulating the dreams, disappointments, falsehoods, flashes of truth, elements of emotional artifice and inescapable realities of life. The presence of stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Katrina Kaif, Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Randeep Hooda in these segments is a treat to watch. The film culminates with “Apna Bombay Talkies”, the theme song Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema.
