Sony plans birthday bash for Mr B

The countdown has begun for Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 and a little birdie from the channel tells us that there is so much to do and so little time. And then there are the grand plans of bringing in KBC host Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday on October 11, the day when the show goes on air too. The birdie chirps, “We will celebrate Mr Bachchan’s birthday with a big bash at a suburban five-star hotel and will also watch the first episode with him.” Er, so what’s the channel gifting him or is the fat pay cheque they have given him for the show gift enough? Meanwhile, the process of “approaching people” for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is underway too. “We are going to celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Sourav Ganguly.” Well, all we can say and feel is Madhuri seems to be a good bet but as a judge and not a participant. As for the men, can Navjot Singh Sidhu dance without laughing? We sure would love him to take up the challenge.
