When Akshay advised Srman

Srman Jain who is well known as Prachin of Saas Bina Sasural on Sony recently got an opportunity to take a career leap. He will now soon be seen in a film sharing space with Bollywood biggies. A few days ago Srman had taken a break from his current show Saas Bina Sasural to make his debut in a Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh starrer Desi Boys were he plays Akshay Kumar’s room partner. But we are not going to talk about his upcoming film but his great experience with the Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor was on cloud nine to be doing the film but the road to stardom is not so easy and the actor experienced it first hand. “When we shoot for serials we usually give our shot at leisure but in films you’re suppose to be fast. Since this is my film debut I had no idea about this and I kept giving re-takes for quite sometime. Finally Akshay came up to me and asked me if I was a TV actor. When I replied in the affirmative he asked me to go easy as I had gone a little aggressive while emoting. I took his advice and my next take was okayed. Later Akshay told me that one needs to be little more melodramatic on television while in films one needs to be subtle.” With gurus like this one doesn’t need to enroll in any acting schools.
