There are some trailers that check all the boxes and Baar Baar Dekho sure looks like one of those.
The romantic fare opens as a time travelling tale where two people fall in love through various trials and tribulations.
There’s a shaadi, a honeymoon, a time leap, a husband who doesn’t remember his marriage, a wife who goes from a peppy bride to a suave professional. Phew.
There’s just too much happening and we are curious to know what. It looks like the time travel part has been inspired by The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, although the setting is totally different.
Katrina’s hot pink bikini and sexy kamar make the plot already interesting, throw in Sid’s various looks that go from a youngster to a 40-year-old, and you’ve a winner!
The background score is catchy, while the shaadi setting with mehendi, sangeet and the whole nine yards is super fun, which will definitely keep desi audiences glued.
There’s also a passionate kiss between the dashing duo, along with a party-starter of a dance number. Like we said, the movie has every ingredient to make us flock to the theatres.
Directed by Nitya Mehra, the movie stars Sidharth Malhotra as Jai, Katrina Kaif as Diya, Sarika, Ram Kapoor, Taaha Shah Badusha, Sayani Gupta, Rohan Joshi, and Rajit Kapur in a special appearance.
It’s slated for September 9, 2016.
