The original mystery series that has kept our imagination alive is back with a chilling sequel.
Newcomers Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora play a couple that’s shrouded in mystery.
The two meet in Romania, fall in love there, get married and move into a spooky mansion. Obviously, the premise of the thriller is already set.
There are the usual horror elements like creaking doors, disappearing figures, flying objects, and a husband who has a secret too deep, a wife who goes back to her ex-lover to figure out the bad omen. Phew.
There are many twists and turns in the trailer, which we are sure will be revealed in the movie. While the main lead fail to sizzle in terms of chemistry or acting, they try their best to live up to the franchise.
There’s Emraan Hashmi too, who plays the ex-lover…also, and there are hot smooching sequences between Kirti and Emran. The background score is perfectly haunting and breezy and the sudden moments make the whole trailer a super ride.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the movie is slated to release on September 16, 2016.
