After slaying us with her short, yet impactful act as Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani, PeeCee is back to show us her star power. She plays a fierce police officer in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal. Her attitude, fiery body language and on-point dialogue delivery make her an enviable cop.
While the first edition of the movie saw Ajay Devgn as a ruthless officer, the sequel has Priyanka as a no-damn-to-give leader. The trailer has typical Jha favorites like a corrupt politico, structured fight sequences and a righteous cop. It also has Chopra kicking, punching and shooting like a pro.
What’s even better is her showdown with Prakash Jha’s BN Singh, who plays a corrupt cop-turned-good-officer. Despite Bollywood being a male-dominated medium, actresses have sure paved a way for themselves.
From Deepika Padukone in Piku to Kangna Ranaut in Queen to Priyanka Chopra in Fashion, these beauties have shown us what they can do. Looks like PeeCee’s American outing Quantico has come in handy, because she packs quite a punch as the first mahila SP of the area. Way to go, girl!
