Salman Khan to star in Shuddhi, confirms Karan Johar

We had foreseen this coming. Close on heels of our breaking story of Salman confirming yesterday that he is doing Shuddhi, here comes an official confirmation from Karan Johar. "Shuddhi will star SALMAN KHAN and will release in Diwali 2016," tweeted Karan. Surprisingly, no announcement was made on the leading lady. It may be interesting to note that a couple of weeks back Kareena Kapoor had told reporters that Shuddhi has been shelved. Now with Karan Johar and Salman confirming that Shuddhi is back on track, we wonder who the privileged leading actress would be. Shuddhi is believed to be an extremely spiritual movie passing through three different timelines. It would be interesting to see if Salman would do justice to this period drama.
