Akshara hasn't approached me for any advice yet - Kamal Haasan

South Indian legend Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara will soon be seen making her debut opposite South star Dhanush in R Balki's next. The light-eyed beauty has already started shooting for the movie that also stars Amitabh Bachchan. And with a father as illustrious as Kamal, Akshara wouldn't really have to look elsewhere when it comes to seeking professional advice. But guess what? The young debutant is yet to approach her father in this regard. Making this revelation was Kamal Haasan himself. When we asked him if he has given any acting tips to Akshara, the legendary actor shot back in a lighter vein, "She should not be taking any tips from oldies like me." Heaping praise on his daughter, Kamal expressed happiness at her confidence. "I am sure she will do well. She hasn't called or approached me for any advice yet. When she will call, I will give my advice. But the fact that she hasn't called yet only shows that she is confident." Kamal was in town yesterday to attend the annual convocation ceremony of Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods. Addressing a strong crowd of graduates, Kamal asked them to stay strong even in the face of surmounting impediments for according to the superstar actor, today only the fittest will survive. Ruing the fact that he didn't have enough financial wherewithal to enroll in a film institute, he urged the graduates to make maximum use of their training in the outside world. Kamal's next, Uthama Villain will reportedly release in Diwali, this year.
