Tony and Deeya Singh’s production house DJ’s A Creative Unit is tipped to be making a show for Imagine. This show will be loosely based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
A source says, “The production house is working on a story that is loosely based on Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba’s relationship. The production house isn’t planning to turn this into a historical show and the story will be very much today’s as it will be based in 2011. It will be a love story very much similar to that of Gandhi and Kasturba. The show is most likely to go on air somewhere around August.”
Producers Tony and Deeya remained unavailable for comment.
