Aamir Dalvi's 'picturesque Kashmir moments'

Aamir Dalvi
The talented and good looking Aamir Dalvi was part of the Shapath (Fireworks Productions) team that recently shot in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. Amidst the snow and freezing temperature, the cast of the Life OK team had a wonderful time shooting. “We were shooting in Gulmarg which is almost 14,000 ft above sea level and I must say what a beauty that place is. We could actually see Kailash Parvat, Nanga Parvat and the Pakistan border from there. As for the shoots, we got a chance to film in some amazing locations. Also the snow was a well addition to our action sequences,” shared the actor. When asked of any difficulty while shooting, Aamir quipped, “I fell sick a couple of times because of the drop in altitude. Also since we had to climb up steep rocks, it was quite a difficult time. But I must say I saw a great bond between our team for we were all trying to support and help each other. Also with BP Singh directing this episode, we were inspired by the man’s strength and valor. Being a 67 year old man he was working day and night and that gave us a lot of motivation.” And since Kashmir is known for great food, what all delicacies did he try? “Oh, we fed ourselves so well with all the rich food in the eight day schedule that I think all the actors would hit the gym with full force now (laughs). But yes, we did get to enjoy all the local food and especially the traditional Wazwan.” Aamir then sounded amused with the kind of confidence the local women have there. “Usually people are not confident asking women on roads for direction and they too shy away from strangers. But here we were all amazed at the level of confidence the localites had. That shows that the culture there gives power and confidence to women and I must say it’s a great thing.” We wish you all the best Aamir!!!
