Balika Vadhu - Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte (Colors) This was Colors break through serial on child marriage- a plague that still exists in certain parts of India. Although the original cast are no longer a part of this series, the newer lot including Toral Rasputra, Siddharth Shukla and others have been able to keep the audience engaged with their riveting performances. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Star Plus) Balaji Telefilms helmed Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been able to grab TRPs despite receiving a late night telecast slot. Guess Ekta can thank her lead pair Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi both of whom have played the role of interstate lovers to the hilt. This 2 States like love story continues to capture viewers interest. Sasural Simar Ka (Colors) Produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, this fiction drama tells the story of two sisters, Simar and Roli who marry two brothers and end up living in the same house. Ex Balika Vadhu Avika Gor and Deepika Samson essay the lead role of sisters in this series. Saath Nibhana Sathiya (Star Plus) Another creation of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, Saath Nibhana Sathiya revolves around the story of two cousin sisters, Gopi and Rashi who are complete opposites of each other.
