Beyond films, she is equally revered for the grounded manner in which she balances her personal and professional life.
The actress recently turned heads at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025, where she walked the red carpet with elegance and charm.
She was seen interacting warmly with guests and even sharing light-hearted moments with Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson.
However, the most compelling part of her appearance was her session at the event, where she spoke introspectively about her craft, confidence, and sense of clarity.
Addressing the audience, Aishwarya revealed that insecurity has never dictated her film choices. As quoted by a reporter, she said,
“I’m so busy taking care of Aaradhya, being with Abhishek, that I don’t get insecure if I don’t sign a film. Insecurities have never been a driving force for me.”
In a now-viral video from the festival, she elaborated further:
“I don’t get insecure. That’s a very real aspect of who I am. Insecurities have never been a driving force, even though voices around you can push those thoughts. But that has never been me — that’s clarity.”

Aishwarya reflected on her early choices, recalling how Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar appealed to her because it was about storytelling, not launching a beauty pageant winner.
“I remember Mani sir telling me, ‘Iruvar is not a launch film. It’s a story.’ And I thought, ‘That’s the film I want to do.’”
She also discussed choosing Chokher Bali after the grandeur of Devdas, a decision that surprised many in the industry:
“People wondered what could top Devdas, but I chose Chokher Bali. It was a beautiful story, and that’s what mattered to me.”
Her reflections underscored a career built on instinct, authenticity, and an absence of external pressure.
On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 (2023), the epic historical. The film featured a stellar ensemble including Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan.
As Aishwarya continues to chart her path with grace and self-awareness, her presence at the festival served as a reminder of why she remains one of Indian cinema’s most respected and admired artists, a star who leads with conviction, confidence, and quiet strength.
