Navratri is celebrated with great gusto. Over a period of nine days, people dance and make merry, especially garba.
As it is a period of jalsa (enjoyment) for all especially the Gujaratis, some of our well known television celebs from the fraternity gear up to wish all Happy Navratri!
Bhavya Gandhi:
Every year I play garba during Navratri with my friends and this year too I will be enjoying the occasion. I would like to wish everyone a very prosperous Navratri and I would like to appeal everyone to not only enjoy the occasion but also place the garba (pot) and pray to the Lord.
Shyam Pathak:
On a lighter note, Patrakar Popatlal will definitely play garba in search of Mrs. Popatlal. Being a Gujarati by heart, Navratri holds a very special significance as I have been playing it since childhood. I dance to the tunes till today. I would like to wish everyone a safe Navratri and also advise everyone to take care of their children as there are chances of them getting lost in the crowd.
Dev Joshi:
I plan to rejoice, dance and make merry in Ahmedabad. I would like to wish all my fans and viewers of Baal Veer a very happy Navratri and may these nine days bring prosperity to all.
Shrenu Parikh:
Unfortunately, I will not be able to play garba this year due to my shoots. But I would like to wish everyone a very happy Navratri and also request people to take some time off and go and enjoy this festival to the fullest.
Suhasi Dhami:
Every year I take at least two days off and play garba with my friends in Juhu. I wish everyone happy Navratri. Please play garba, wear colourful clothes and festivals are meant to celebrate togetherness, so enjoy and pray to Mata.
Apara Mehta:
Being a Gujarati, this is one of the most important festivals and I wish everyone a very happy Navratri. I hope everyone has shopped a lot of colourful clothes and are all set to play garba.
