Krystle Dsouza, who began her acting career at the age of 16 with the daily soap Kahe Naa Kahe, admits she wasn’t always confident about her acting skills. “I was a bad actress when I started out,” she confesses but adds that she has grown significantly over the years.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Krystle opened up about her journey.
Krystle received widespread appreciation for her performance in the digital release Visfot. Speaking about the role, she shared, “I’ve waited very long for this. Films are mostly male-driven, so when you get a meaty part, you want to do your best.”
Discussing the challenges of transitioning from television to films, Krystle candidly spoke about the hurdles she faced. “It takes a lot to transition from TV to films. There’s also a misconception that television actors aren’t good enough. I had to wait a very long time for things to move, and there was a lot of pressure, including from my parents. Everyone kept saying, ‘It’s okay, if it’s not happening, move back to TV.’”
Her persistence and dedication have finally paid off as she continues to make a mark in the film industry with her determination and talent.
