I am looking forward to my stint in Bollywood: Prakoshini

A software engineer by profession, Prakoshini Sakhare, never imagined that she would win a beauty pageant. But fate had something exciting in store for the pretty lady as she participated in the Miss Bharat 2013 during a chance encounter with a scouting agency! And rest, as they say, is history. After her win (she was crowned Miss Bharat Earth), she went to model for a host of products. "I never thought I would get into modelling as I always wanted to be an actor," she said. Talking about her acting offers, she said, "I have signed a Bollywood project that's a love story. I can't reveal much about it except that it's a very interesting role." She added further, "I am also doing a Tamil movie where I a play a dancer. I am excited about that!" As a trained Kathak, Belly and Salsa dancer, this movie should be a cakewalk for her, right? She is also looking forward to a love song she has been signed on for. "The shooting for the Kumar Sanu song starts in January in Bangkok. I am quite excited about that," she said. It's no wonder that the Nagpur-born actress considers the original 'thumka' queen Madhuru Dixit as her inspiration. And one she aspires to work with Amitabh Bachchan too. "I would love to work with Hrithik Roshan too," she said. She loves the whole song-dance routine that Bollywood is famous for because on her list of dream directors are Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and of course Yash Raj Productions. "I love how they make the actress look and feel so beautiful on the big screen," she said. With January packed with shoots and travels, we hope that the New Year turns out to be amazing for the actress!
