Why Saif may not work with Shah Rukh again?

"Working with Shah Rukh Khan would mean doing a small role in a big film of his," said Saif when Tellychakkar.com asked him why he hasn't collaborated again with the biggest superstar of Bollywood SRK, after Kal Ho Naa Ho. Elaborating on his reasons further, Saif said, " I would rather play a main role in an Illuminati film. I don't think I will get a role like 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' (KHNH) ever again with Shah Rukh Khan - probably not! KHNH was almost my movie. Actors like to play larger than life and we become spoilt that we feel we that we are important enough. It took me a long time and work to graduate from second lead to main and I don't want to go back to doing that." Interestingly, Saif hasn't even collaborated with Vishal Bhardwaj the man who gave him the role of a lifetime with Omkara. Explaining why he has never worked with Vishal again, Saif said, " Vishal Bhardwaj has to write something or do something that goes beyond Omkara. It doesn't have to be better but it has to be good - something different. People will compare everything with Omkara." When asked about collaborating with Farhan Akhtar, the director who is credited for turning around Saif's career with Dil Chahta Hai, Saif said, " I played the third lead in Farhan's film Dil Chahta Hai which became a very nice popular role. I am sure when he has a role for me it will happen. I am in talks with Excel now for a movie to be directed by Reema Kagti but not by Farhan. I would love for Farhan but maybe the kind of films he has made was suited for others." Now we do have to appreciate Saif for being brutally honest.
