The makers of Fitoor have managed to cast this interesting pair together where Talat will be seen playing Rekha's love interest. While Rekha will enact the role of a temperamental Begum, the ghazal singer turned actor, Talat will be seen playing a diplomat in the film. The duo has even finished shooting for their first schedule of the film in the scenic Kashmir. Incidentally, Talat had once lent his voice for one of Rekha's classics, Umrao Jaan.
