MUMBAI : Tabu is one of the most versatile and talented actresses of the Indian film industry. Tabu has been busy promoting Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which she would be starring in alongside Ajay Devgn. Experienced performer Tabu explains why she never worked with Shah Rukh Khan as his leading lady in a project. The actor is now doing a lot of promotional work for her next movie, "Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha," in which she stars with Ajay Devgn.
In a recent interview Tabu said, “I am not a producer, nor a director or a scriptwriter. I am really not dictating who Shah Rukh Khan works with and which films are going to be made and which films are going to be offered to me next. I can only say yes or no to what is being offered to me.”
She added, “There were films that were offered to us (Shah Rukh Khan and Tabu). I know the films I have refused and I am sure he must have also refused a few films. So, nothing really happened where our paths were crossed.”
Tabu was previously asked to provide details regarding her appearance in the 2007 Farah Khan film "Om Shanti Om." It's a romance drama with fantasy and comedic overtones. Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan play the movie's key characters.
Tabu made a brief but memorable appearance in the song "Deewangi Deewangi," where she sported a red saree and swayed in slow motion.
Tabu revealed, “Ek shot hum sabne kiya tha. I did it for Farah and yeah, it was great fun. They made me some great clothes, great hair, and makeup, and we got very expensive gifts from Shah Rukh Khan.”
The song featured a lot of actors and actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Shabana Azmi, Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, among many others.
