MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone is feeling like the proudest wife in Hindi cinema right now. The actress took to social media to share her glowing review of husband Ranveer Singh’s latest film, Dhurandhar, lauding both his performance and the overall production.
Posting on Instagram Stories on Friday, Deepika wrote, “Dhurandhar has been watched and is worth every minute of those 3.36 hours. So do yourself a favour and get to the cinema hall now!” She added a personal note of pride: “So incredibly proud of you, Ranveer Singh,” accompanied by a kiss emoji. She also congratulated the entire cast and crew for the film’s successful release.

Dhurandhar opened across 5,000 screens in India, initially recording a morning show occupancy of just under 16%. However, positive word of mouth quickly boosted audience numbers, with afternoon shows reaching over 28% occupancy.
By 6 pm, the film had collected ₹17.44 crore net, exceeding early trade expectations of ₹15–18 crore for opening day collections. Analysts now predict the film could cross ₹20 crore net by the end of the day.
The encouraging response highlights Ranveer Singh’s strong pull at the box office and the growing audience interest in Dhurandhar, cementing the film’s status as a must-watch in theatres this weekend.
Dhurandhar is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language spy action thriller, written, directed, and co-produced by Aditya Dhar.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
It features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
With its intense action sequences, compelling storyline, and star-studded ensemble, Dhurandhar has swiftly won over audiences, receiving acclaim for both its performances and production quality as it continues to make waves at the box office.
