'Smooch' sequence makes Jason and Anusua 'unhappy' on the sets of Dil Dostii Dance

Jason Tham and Anusua Chowdhury
Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance, the popular show of Cinevistaas Ltd. is usually a fun place to be in, with a lot of entertainment and dance happening on and off the sets!! Recently, two actors on the set were unhappy and in no mood to accept the creative call!! Wondering who they are? Well, they happen to be actors Jason Tham and Anusua Chowdhury who play the roles of Karma and Huma respectively. All was fun for Jason till the time the creative team on board the show conveyed to him about a particular ‘smooch’ sequence that was to be shot between him and Anusua. The sheer description of the scene made Jason uncomfortable, and he refused to budge. A source states, “Jason got extremely emotional on hearing about the creative call. He refused to shoot for the sequence, even if it meant he would face extreme consequences. It was a tough moment for the young lad, and he tried explaining to the creatives as to how he can deliver the same feel by not smooching on screen. But the team termed it as a channel’s call and requested him to abide to it. All this left the actor in grief, and that is when the unexpected happened.” Well o well, the creative team suddenly burst out in laughter on seeing the young lad in a shocked state. And they made the big revelation of all this being a prank played on him!! A sigh of relief for Jason, it was!! But the prank did not stop here!! The team decided to carry the same prank on Anusua and started the game with her. And she did react in a similar way to Jason. “The girl was stunned, and refused to even kiss on-screen. She was told that this 360 degree pan sequence of the smooch was what the viewers had asked for, and she might not continue doing the show if she refused to shoot for it. However, the girl stood to what she said and refused to shoot it. When she was almost in tears, the team revealed the prank to her,” said a person from the set of the show. April Fool in the month of December!! Great job!! When contacted, Jason did manage to laugh at the incident and said, “Yes, I was very emotional when I was told by my creative team to smooch on screen. I refused to do it though. I never expected that they would play such a prank on me. And to tell you, it did not appear to be a prank at all and I believed every bit of it. It was hilarious when I got to know it was just a prank. I thanked my stars actually, as I would have never done such a sequence.” Not even at the cost of getting removed from the show, we ask Jason. “No, I actually feel uncomfortable kissing on-screen. I would have never smooched.” We tried contacting Anusua, but could not get through to her. Must say, a nice prank played well!!
